Setting Up Polyguard PreScreen

This guide walks recruiting admins through turning on Polyguard PreScreen for your team. The setup differs slightly depending on which applicant tracking system you use — select the tab that matches yours.

Before you begin, make sure you have admin access to your applicant tracking system and to the Polyguard Console.

Connect Your Applicant Tracking System

Greenhouse setup is a one-time process: you create API keys in the Greenhouse Dev Center, add a verification stage to your jobs, and connect a submission web hook, pasting each value into the Polyguard admin console (/admin) as you go.

Follow the Greenhouse Setup guide for the full walkthrough. It takes about 20 minutes and configures both Hosted Apply and the Inbound Backstop.

1. Connect Rippling to Polyguard

  1. In the Polyguard Console, open Integrations and choose Rippling.
  2. Enter your job board slug (the identifier in your public Rippling careers URL). Rippling's public job board does not require a customer API key for reading and submitting applications.

2. Publish a protected careers page (Hosted Apply)

  1. Polyguard mirrors your live Rippling postings onto a Polyguard-hosted careers page.
  2. Share that link wherever you advertise roles. Candidates apply there, complete a Trust Check, and only verified applications are submitted to Rippling.

Inbound Backstop for Rippling

The Inbound Backstop for Rippling is enabled through Rippling's partner integration. Talk to your Polyguard contact to turn it on for your account.

1. Connect Workday to Polyguard

  1. In the Polyguard Console, open Integrations and choose Workday.
  2. Provide the Workday integration details requested by the Console so Polyguard can read your published requisitions and write verified applications and identity claims back onto the candidate record.

2. Publish a protected careers page (Hosted Apply)

  1. Polyguard mirrors your live Workday requisitions onto a Customer-branded careers page hosted by Polyguard.
  2. Share that link wherever you advertise roles. Candidates apply there, complete a Trust Check, and only verified applications are submitted to Workday.

Inbound Backstop for Workday

The Inbound Backstop for Workday is enabled as part of your Workday integration. Talk to your Polyguard contact to turn it on for your account.

Choose Required Proofs

In the Polyguard Console you can set which identity proofs every applicant must complete. A typical configuration confirms a real, present person; you can raise this to include a verified name, a government-issued ID, geographic region (which can be geofenced), and a phone number verified by one-time passcode (OTP) for higher-assurance roles.

Start simple, raise assurance per role

Many teams start with presence verification on all requisitions and require full identity proofs only on sensitive or high-trust roles.
